A personalized shopping experience that turns visual inspiration into higher-value purchases
For the nation's largest beauty retailer, I designed Shop the Look across mobile app and web to achieve dual goals: increase average order value and establish the brand as a trusted resource for beauty education. Through cross-collaboration with six technology teams—two development teams, machine learning, AI, and design library—I created a personalized shopping experience that leverages beauty profile data, virtual try-on tools, and foundation matching technology. This intelligent system helps guests discover perfectly suited products while building their beauty knowledge and skills, transforming casual browsing into confident, higher-value purchases.
